Exmore is a young and dynamic company founded in March 1993 and has always been professionalized since its foundation. For the moment, we have a staff of some 30 persons. EXMORE is specialised in the sales of SMD assembly equipment and production equipment for the manufacturing and assembly of cable and wire harnesses and for the automatic identification and print systems industry. EXMORE is a successful and independent company with a very particular style. We offer solutions with a personal touch for companies, institutions and organisations, to meet both national and international industrial standards in this very innovative industry. A well-founded organisation, a professional approach, an eye for detail and a highly personal customer service are the basic elements in our corporate culture. Corporate activities The market in which Exmore is active is threefold. The first sector in which Exmore operates is the coding and labelling industry. In this market, Exmore focuses itself especially on the pharmaceutical industry where Exmore wants to operate as a central meeting point for all the coding and labelling needs in this market. Exmore has at it's disposal a high quality range of products to meet the needs of every client. The second industry includes literally all machinery involved in the treatment of cable and wire products. From length measuring equipment and cutting machines to cutting, stripping and crimping machines or fully automatic processing machines including equipment for glass fibre, coax wires and multi conductors. The third industry is the electronics production sector where our company offers an extensive product range from specialised inspection equipment to fully automatic soldering machines, SMD assembly lines with highly flexible and efficient pick and place machines, screen printers and reflow systems. Also the consumables like fluxes, stencils, paste, solder bars and solder wires are part of the program. Since the beginning of this year, Exmore also sells machines for the applications resistance welding and laser welding of the brand Miyachi-Peco. Resistance Welding is a thermo-electric process in which heat is generated at the interface of the parts to be joined by passing an electrical current through the parts for a precisely controlled time and under a controlled pressure (also called force). This applications will procure a very short operation time, is very operation friendly thanks to the low voltage and creates a reliable electro-mechanical joint. Laser welding is a contact-less joining process in which a laser beam is used to create a fusion weld in metals. To create these welds, the laser beam is tightly focused onto the metal parts. The very high energy density in the laser focus melts the metals, which solidify once the laser pulse is terminated. Thanks to this application it is possible to weld against high speed and very precisely in inaccessible places. Furthermore, special made solutions are designed in-house and implemented in close cooperation with our customers from all three disciplines. Naturally we can count on our very well trained and motivated staff – technical as well as administrative – to provide this professional markets with the appropriate machinery. Exmore is located close to the town Turnhout in the province of Antwerp, not far from Brussels, the heart of Belgium. Thanks to its favourably geographical location, Exmore can immediately anticipate on the fast changing European markets.
