Design and function
The machine is designed to produce weathertight crimp connections between a terminal and the wire from a single pole cable. A wire seal is first positioned onto the cable by a seal unit. The conductor is then stripped by a strip unit. The stripped wire-end and seal are inserted into a closed terminal by a component holder. A press then makes a crimp connection between the conductor and terminal using an applicator.
